Terms of Use — All Document Reader

These Terms of Use (“Terms”) are an agreement between you and AB Apps (“we”, “us”) about your use of the All Document Reader mobile app (“the app”). By downloading or using the app you accept these Terms. If you do not accept them, do not use the app. Our Privacy Policy explains how information is handled.

1. Licence

We grant you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable licence to use the app on Android devices you own or control, for lawful purposes, under these Terms and the Google Play Terms of Service. You may not copy, modify, resell, reverse engineer (except where the law allows), or redistribute the app, or remove its notices.

2. Free version and ads

The app is free to download. The free version shows ads served by Google AdMob. Ads come from third parties, and we are not responsible for advertisers’ content, products or websites.

3. Premium subscriptions

• What you get: Premium removes ads and includes the benefits shown on the subscription screen at the time you buy.
• Billing: Subscriptions are sold and billed by Google Play to your Google account. The price, billing period (for example weekly, monthly or yearly) and any trial are shown before you confirm the purchase. Prices may include local taxes and may vary by country.
• Free trials: Some plans include a free trial (for example 3 days). If you do not cancel before the trial ends, the subscription starts and you are charged automatically. Each Google account can use a trial once.
• Auto-renewal: Subscriptions renew automatically at the end of each period at the then-current price until you cancel. If the price changes, Google Play will notify you as required.
• Cancelling: Cancel anytime in the Google Play Store app under Profile → Payments & subscriptions → Subscriptions. You keep Premium until the end of the period you have paid for. Uninstalling the app does not cancel a subscription.
• Refunds: Refunds are handled under Google Play’s refund policy. Except where the law requires otherwise, we do not give refunds for partial periods.
• Restoring: Premium is tied to the Google account you bought it with, and the app restores it automatically when you sign in to Google Play with that account.
• Discounted offers: Promotional prices apply only for the period stated in the offer, then the plan renews at the price shown.

4. Your files and your responsibility

• You keep all rights to your documents. The app processes them on your device, and we do not claim any ownership of them.
• Use the app only with files you have the right to open, convert, modify, sign or share. You are responsible for following copyright, privacy and other laws when you do so.
• Tools such as Delete, Rename, Move, Merge, Split, Compress and Manage Pages change files on your device. Keep backups of important files. We cannot recover files you delete or overwrite.
• Locked PDFs: if you set a password with Lock PDF and forget it, we cannot recover it or unlock the file.
• Fill & Sign: signatures added in the app are images placed on the document. They are not certified digital signatures and may not meet the legal requirements for every document or country.
• Conversions: converting between formats (for example PDF to Word) and compressing files can change layout, fonts, image quality or content. Check the result before you rely on it.

5. Acceptable use

You agree not to use the app to break any law, infringe anyone’s rights, interfere with the app or its ads (including generating invalid ad clicks or impressions), or circumvent subscription or licence checks.

6. Third-party software and services

The app uses services from Google (AdMob, Firebase, Google Play, ML Kit) and open-source software, including Apache POI, PDFBox, pdf.js, and CameraX. Each is provided under its own terms or licence, which also apply to your use of it. Open-source components are provided under their own licences, and nothing in these Terms limits your rights under those licences.

7. Updates and availability

We may update, change or remove features, show update prompts, or stop offering the app. We try to keep the app working, but we do not guarantee it will always be available, error-free, or compatible with every device or file.

8. Disclaimer

To the extent the law allows, the app is provided “as is” and “as available” without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, accuracy and non-infringement.

9. Limitation of liability

To the extent the law allows, AB Apps is not liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential or punitive damages, or for any loss of data, files, profits or business, arising from your use of or inability to use the app. Our total liability for any claim is limited to the amount you paid for the app or subscription in the 12 months before the claim. Nothing in these Terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law, or your statutory rights as a consumer.

10. Termination

You may stop using the app at any time by uninstalling it (and cancelling any subscription in Google Play). We may suspend or end your licence if you break these Terms. Sections 4, 8, 9 and 11 continue to apply after termination.

11. Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the country where AB Apps is established, without regard to conflict-of-law rules. This does not take away the protection of mandatory consumer laws in the country where you live.

12. Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms. We will publish the new version at this address with a new “Last updated” date. If you keep using the app after a change, you accept the updated Terms.
